Being a member of Sophia Aeterna has many benefits. You get discounts on study books and our activities offer a great opportunity to get to know your lecturers and fellow students. Sophia organises a lot of activities, such as drinks, lectures, museum trips and book auctions. Don\u2019t hesitate to join us at bigger events, like study trips as well! In addition, a small association like Sophia also provides the opportunity to take part in committees and to help organise activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You can choose to become a member of Sophia Aeterna at any moment you like. Apart from paying a yearly contribution, there are no obligations attached to the membership. To become a member, please send an e-mail to bestuur@sophia-aeternaleiden.nl<\/a>. When your registration is approved, you\u2019ll need to pay the annual contribution of \u20ac15. Please remit the amount in name of Sophia Aeterna on the following account: NL30 RBRB 8836 8404 34.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Only (former) Classics students, (former) lecturers of the Classics department or other departments linked to Classics, of Leiden University or any other (university) institution can become a member of Sophia Aeterna.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n After registration, you are a member of Sophia Aeterna for an indefinite period (at least one year). This means that you must cancel your membership yourself by sending an email to bestuur@sophia-aeternaleiden.nl<\/a>. Please cancel your membership before September 1, otherwise you are obliged to pay the contribution for the next year must as well.
